Transworld Wakeboarding May 2012

The crew at Transworld Wakeboarding released their May issue and inside Hyperlite riders Trever Maur and Shaun Murray made an appearance!  Trever got together with staff photographer Rodrigo Donoso on the Delta and captured this sick pylon bonk with the moon setting behind, DOPE!  Mr. Murray shined in the Florida sunset as only he can with this silhouetted method grab!  Enjoy...

Transworld Wakeboarding Magazine features Rusty Malinoski on the cover and he was voted 3rd in the 2011 Readers Poll.  Congrats Rusty!  Other notables include Shaun Murray making 2nd Fav in the Readers Poll and this issue also includes some sick shots of Team Riders Trever Maur and Jacob Valdez.

Transworld Wake System Cover


Working closely with the Transworld Media team we joked about a new cover shot idea with mad potential.  Sometimes riders will approach a magazine in the same way, like Shaun Murray and his reflection cover, shot by Joey Meddock.  So we were joking, but somewhat hopeful that placing our System Binding on the cover of Transworld would be sick, kind of similar to seeing the iPhone 4 on the cover of MacWorld.  Transworld delivered and we couldn't be happier.  The cover you see was run in limited numbers on the August issue, the recent Rusty cover and we had a few hundred of them floating around at Surf Expo.  Thanks TW!

The April issue of Transworld Wakeboarding is on the streets and we definitely have Spring Fever!  Some of you have already begun your season and others have to wait just a bit longer, but we've got some quality reading material in the meantime.  Check out this spread of Team Rider Trever Maur and the cool ad BoardCo ran.  There's also a page titled Famous Firsts written by our very own, Greg Nelson, writing about the impact that double ups have had on the sport.
