No one could have predicted the season Shaun Murray had in 2011. Even if you ask Shaun he just shrugs his shoulders. After finishing 7th in the King of Wake series and being voted 2nd in Transworld Wake’s Readers Poll by the fans, we’re just amazed. Then again, it’s Mr. Murray so we’re not really amazed, surprised, or flabbergasted. Shaun continues to perform and, more than any other athlete, he is Wakeboarding’s best Pro. It was in Atlanta, after falling a couple times and ending his run early, Shaun had to walk the length of the beach back to the rider’s tent; he stopped for every fan along the way snapping pics and signing autographs.
