MARC KROON

Winter is approaching and what will your off season consist of to stay in Wakeboard Shape?
As long as I'm in Holland: playing ice hockey, trampoline training and work out in the gym. In addition to that, I'll try to beat the cold and keep on riding. But of course I hope to spend as much time as possible in Orlando to keep up training.

Give us your most memorable Wakeboard moment from 2010.

Winning the European Championships in Sweden.

And how about your most memorable Non-Wakeboard moment.
Meeting Hulk Hogan.

Free Ride or Train?  Is there a difference between free-riding and doing well in competition?
Train, because it gives me a purpose and direction. The difference between free-riding and doing well in competition lies in the pressure. Freeriding is hanging out with friends, without time limits or borders. When I ride competitions, I want to make sure I give myself to the fullest. That puts the pressure on me, but that just feels good. Both things make me happy, but they do so in different ways.

Big plans for next season?  Give us the low down.
I want to improve my riding by intensive training, spend as much time as possible in the US and if I succeed in this, hopefully I'll be able to compete in the Pro Tour, Junior Men.

If the world were ending tomorrow, what would you go land today so you'd be happy?
A Big Johnson
