Jimmy LaRiche is on fire! He has won back-to-back tour stops in the Junior Men’s division in both Texas and Minnesota, giving him 3 King of Wake victories for the year.

This past contest, the Minnesota stop was a heated battle yet again with Australian Harley Clifford, but Jimmy was able to hold him off with a solid pass and locked up his victory with his heel 9 off the double up.

Jimmy wasn’t even sure if he was going to be able to land his double up midway in the spin. He said he got a bit stretched out with his handle being pulled away from his body as he was rotating his 9 (probably because Jimmy got absolutely booted off the double up). No one even came close to the magnitude of Jimmy’s double – it was one that rivals the doubles of our own Rusty Malinoski!

Jimmy is riding at such an elite level right now. The kid is landing heel 9s like they are wake jumps! He has so much confidence in his riding and he has such a big bag of tricks, it’s truly a sight to see this 18 year old ride.
